Epidural for Pain Management after Surgery
Hi , I know we talked about this a little bit in a previous thread but I wanted to make it's own thread. Have any of you had an
epidural for pain management after your nephrectomies?
My surgery is tomorrow morning and the anesthesiologist wants to speak to me about it beforehand.
Just curious what other people's experiences have been with it and if it has been helpful or not.
From what I have read online pain management plays a big part in a more successful recovery and that
epidurals are good for the first couple of days.
I have never had one before.
Thanks!
