Mom in hospital

I haven't and won't be on this board for while, my Mom had a heart stent put in and then fell and hit her head the night of, her brain is bleeding. This is day 6. She is on a respirator and the problem is tha she can get her blodd thinners for her heart beacuse it will cause her brain to bleed more. Today she actually wrote that it's our brothers birthday... that was good, but we need her brain to stop bleeding so she doesn't get a clot in her heart.
I have a lab tomorrow and talk with ONC next week. CEA was at 100 let's see how it goes. Prayers for my lovely, wondeful Mom. God Bless!

to your mom and you!
My Mom is a solid rock. She miraculously beat this. She came out of ICU on Friday after 12 days. She also broke her wrist. Right after stent, or the night of. She got out if bed, not knowing where she was. Catheter still attached and fell forward, hit her head on a wooden chair. The bottom rails were not up on the bed. What was a one day has turned out to be 15. She is badly bruised. The bleeding hopefully has stopped completely and they have put her on blood thinners as of last night. Thank you all it has been tough. Have been doing shifts to be with her at all times.

At least I'm glad she's on blood thinners, those in charge of her care should have had the rails up!
here's to your Mom having a speedier recovery now.
Sending my best.
