My very poorly husband
It is very hard posting today, my lovely husband Ian has been fighting this awful cancer for 3 years, he has been the strongest and most Couragest person I have ever known. this last month he has been very sick, hardly eaten and has lost so much weight, it hruts so much to see him trying so hard to be brave for me. I just want to let everyone know how much I love my husband a and will care for him for as long as I have to. I HATE CANCER!

spouses
I'm sorry to hear your husband is not doing well. Since you've been in it together for three years, you are clearly BOTH courageous.
I think my cancer is harder on my husband than it is on me, so I have much respect for spouses and loved ones who are there for cancer patients.

Hope he improves
I pray your husband gets better very soon. As a cancer patient I tend to let my wife know more than anyoneelse's which I know is isnt fair to her. But feel blessed that you have someone who entrusts their feelings to you. This darn cancer is so mean to so many people. Jeff

I will keep both you and Ian in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure your husband knows just how much you do love him. Keep up your spirits and if you need to talk...we are all here for you.

You sound like an incredible couple and team. Know that I will keep you in my heart and prayer. This cancer stuff sure doesn't play fair. I often think it is harder to be the caregiver....my heart overflows with gratitude for those who love enough to be this for us.

i know how you feel
my husband has been fighting stage 4 for 5 years this month. it's been one thing after another - just when he thought he was getting better - pow! another tumor would show up. Right now, he is battling tumors in his lungs and his lymph nodes. he just got home from the ENT where they told him your vocal cord is paralyzed because of the lymph node, if you get your voice back, the chemo is working. Nice, right? i realize that this is the only answer they can give him - but a little more sensitivity would be nice.
Hopefully your husband will start to feel better - just be there for him, be patient, be the one who picks up the pieces. After watching both my mother, father and my brother all suffer from cancer and pass - there was always something afterward that you feel you could have done better. I'm trying not to have that with my husband, i do and give him almost everything he wants. We only met 14 years ago, and had a rough start in our marriage - to the point where i though about leaving, but i am so glad a didn't, he is the best husband a girl could want.
God bless you and your husband, you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I HATE CANCER TOO
You and your husband are warriors against an evil and cleverly distructive enemy.
Three years in an active fight is a long time.
You are great examples for others like my wife and I.
Prayers of comfort and strength,
Art

Showing love every hour.
Each day my husband my best friend of 36 years gets weaker, he spends most of the time sleeping, he manages only ice cream and cold drinks, I pray every day to give Me the strength to carry on. Thank you all for your kinf messages of support.

I'm so profoundly sorry for what you and your husband are going through, and so proud of you for giving him so much love and being there for him, it cannot be easy. Your love shines through. I send you nothing but thoughts of kindness and peacefulness for you and your husband. Our hearts and thoughts are with you.
