    Hi Pepe
I have an older brother. He has suffered from ulcerative colitis and proctitis for over thirty years. I missed that part and went straight to cancer. He sufferes a lot of pain ,bloating and periods of either diarreah or constipation. He has been treated with salazopryosyn and prednisone. At the moment there is no cure for it or related chrons disease. A lot of sufferers lose part or all of their large bowel during flares of the disease. Colonoscopy is the most common diagnostic tool for it. My brother has had over thirty. Cheers Ma.... Ron.te
