Georgia...
I am so sorry about your friend. Was it Breast Cancer as well???? I have a friend who is dying of lung cancer right now with hospice at her home. I spoke to her just 2 days ago for over an hour on the phone.
I hope someday they have a scanning machine that can scan the body and clear it of all cancer inside it without doing anymore surgeries chemo and rads.....how great would that be???
Just pray as most of us do here to find solace in that all that is happening is the way it suppose to be and everything happens in its right time.
Unfortunately thats the way it is but while we are still here we need to try and make a difference in this world for the good of others as well as ourselves.
God Bless You and get a good night sleep!

Yes
As do I. We must stick together no matter what. I got great strength from many here as well as admiration for the strength shown by everyone, whether positive, negative, angry or sad, those with us still or passed. We are all different and all the same at the same time. Good to laugh and cry.

I wait for the day when cancer, like small pox, is a thing of the past. Until then our hearts break with each loss. My prayers go out to you and her family. May God grant you comfort and peace.

I hate cancer too!
Georgia,
I know how you feel and offer my deepest sympathies. I had lost my best friend to cancer (ovarian). I was diagnose 18 months after she found hers.
After the losses on the board here, it is hard to deal with all of this. Mostly all the people I began the journey with in my real life are gone.
I hate cancer also.
Best to you,
Doris
