Update
I enjoyed a wonderful 6 mos remission but have been battling bowel obstructions the last 3 weeks. Mostly in the hospital with NG tubes! Ugh! So the plan now is to send me home on TPN and have chemo to shrink the cancer and open blockages. I really think things are getting better but am afraid to take a chance without the TPN. Hopefully it will be just short term. TPN is strong IV nutrition that is given at home when you cant eat.
Hopefully I will l be home by Wed and getting my next dose of chemo that day.
I really feel well and this has just been another bump in the road.
Wishing you all well!

for being afraid to take a chance without the TPN. I am praying that it is short-term only and that the chemo opens up the blockage very quickly. Your next chemo is just around the corner, so hopefully you'll be back to regular food before you know it.

This Bumpy Road !
You have been through a very rough road , hopefully now things are getting better. Go slow and do whatever you can to get stronger. I have discovered that naps can be very refreshing.
Keep us posted when you can.
