Yippee! Today was my last treatment from radiation. It was a bitter sweet moment when I left today! Believe me I am so happy to be done but I will surely miss my radiation technicians. They took very good care of me and I am so blessed to have had such great care.

Now to move on to the next step in my journey and that is the Armidex for five plus years.

    Kudos on finishing radiation.

    Arimidex is a fine drug.  I wish that I was stil on it.

    I wish I was where you are.  I still have 2 more chemo tx, then 33 rads, then Arimidex.

    Congratulations

    Congrats Jenifer, I finished mine last week and started Tamoxifen 2 days ago. I have to take Calcuim too on a daily basis, do you have to take it also?

    Congrats to you too Jennifer - it appears there are a lot of rad. grads this week...Yes, I too found that the radiation tech's have been great !!!  It makes a big difference as to how you're treated during this process...Smile

    Yes I will have to take

    Yes I will have to take calcium and also Vit D. I was low on Vit D so my onc prescribed D2 50,000 IC one a week for 8 weeks. I will start my Armidex on July 20th. Hopefully no side effect.

    Congrats...

    Now you can put most of it behind you and look forward.  I was always so happy when I finished a treatment!

    My techs have been great too,

    My techs have been great too, but, I will be so glad to be finished.
