Pink Bus next week?!

I have a muga scheduled on Tuesday, July 9 and a PET on Friday, July 12. 

Having a little abdominal edema and an intermittent wheezy cough and praying muga is ok so I can forge ahead.

Of course, it goes without saying, I am likewise praying PET is improved!!!

    I'll be there On That Bus ...

    I certainly will be on the Pink Bus on the 9th and the 12th.  I will bring some lobsters rolls with pink napkins and water.  I just read about "tumors and sugar", so we need to watch the sugar, so no sweet tasting drinks.  Do you like diet soda?   I can bring Canada Dry Ginger ale, the only one I read on here once that suppose to have real ginger.  I like ginger tea, do you?

    I hope the edema will clear up soon.  I have wheezing too.  Mine went away half way through my 2nd cycle and why it has returned has me worried.  Maybe it doesn't mean much at all.  I have shortness of breath but not as bad as in February.

    So I will be sending lots of positive thoughts to you on the 9th, the 12th and when you expect the results.

    I hate cancer, more and more each day.

    You can most certainly count me in on the two trips the Pink Bus will be making for you next Tues. and Friday. You have been through so much having had Stage IV breast cancer that you are definitely deserving of our support. In keeping with Doris' seafood offering, I will contribute California Dungeness Crab and our famous San Francisco sourdough bread.

    It goes without saying that I wish you only the best with both the MUGA and PET scans.

    No place else I'd rather be

    No place else I'd rather be than on that pink bus Tuesday and Friday.  We'll be crowded in those little procedure rooms but we can dance in the hallways and waiting room. xoxoxo Lynn

    I will be there!!! I too will need the bus and pink sisters next week on 7-11-13 for my second chemo treatment. Hope you feel like riding along with me then too! Prayers for the best for you.
