Thank you for asking and your positive thoughtscarkris said:me too!
me too!
Past 5 weeks have been very rough. Apparentely the combination of Faslodex and the experimental drug BKM 120/placebo (no doubts I was taking the drug) at 1000 mg/day was very strong for me. Based on my labs I was taken off on May 24 th and I am still off the drug because recovery has been very slow. I have had total of 4 fluids infusions and it did help with dehydration and detoxication of my liver. In addition, I have had a Chemo brain, the real one due to mechnism of this drug which is crossing brain barrier and suppose to protect from brain methastasis. It is not fun when yoy cannot write or drive. My liver enzymes and CBC are back to normal. I got my Faslodex shot on Tuesday. I have two more wekks before facing a tough desicion wether or not to resume at lower dose or stop the experimental drug. Still dream about spellcheck
I am very exhausted physically and emotionally.
Thank you for your support.

Am so sorry to learn of your struggles over these past several weeks. I agree, wholeheartedly - no fun. Not at all. It's no wonder you're feeling exhausted, in many ways.
Please know that I think of you often, always hopeful. For now, I'll hope that over the next two weeks - you'll recover and feel better. Maybe if you feel a bit stronger, less exhausted - that decision won't seem so daunting.
In the meantime, take very good care of yourself. (((Big Hugs)))
Kind regards, Susan
P.S. to VickiSam: Thank you for the 'shout out' to our dear New Flower.

Olga,
I am glad your liver Enzymes and CBC are back to normal. Glad that you have resume Faslodex shots again.
I do understand being exhausted physically and emotionally. It is hard. When I am low on iron, I can't drive either, my rbc are low. Taxol has made me anemic. I wonder if I should not try the few hormonal drugs that are left. Fareston a very old drug, same period as Tamoxifen or Aromasin. I have some questions about Afinitor and breathing issues since I have them. I don't think Afinitor is for me.
Wishing you the best in your very tough decision, I will be thinking and sending positive thoughts your way.
Hugs,
Doris

If you are like me, making these decisions are almost as hard as the treatments. Sure hope it gets better faster. Nothing so frustrating as your brain not working thr way you need it to.
Whatever decision you make will be the right one for you. I think about you often.
Hugs and many prayers,
