JUST CHECKING IN!
I haven't been on here for a while and wanted to check in. I stop by and read up on everyone but just hadn't posted in a while. 10 months out of treatment and am doing pretty well. I will have a cat scan of the head and neck and a chest x-ray on Monday so would appreciate prayers for another NED. Just got back from a 6 night vacation at Disney World with our 3 grandchildren and 3 of their friends. Had a great time though I did find out that I don't have the stamina I use to but still it was a trip that I will never regret doing. Saliva is getting a little better, taste comes and goes still. Still can't taste much in the sweet category. Will know the results of the cat scan Tuesday but I have placed all my trust in God's hands and I just know it is going to be fine.

I'll be glad to tuck you into my pocket
for the upcoming scan. I'm sure it's going to be clear and clean, but know how nerve wracking it can be. Your vacation with the kiddies sounds like it was fun....and if ask me, having 6 kids to care for would wear anybody out....your current stamina might not have anything to do with treatment, and just the fact that you're old enough to be a grandma....LOL.

Great to hear from you.... Positive thoughts and prayers your way...
Best,
John
Glad you are able to travel. I ventured to Florida without incidence and have 2 more trips on the agenda this summer, Nassau and Las Vegas. Happy to find travel is still an option :-) Prayers for NED on Tuesday!
