Non HodgkinsCOBRA666 said:O-key-Doke
Thanks Jim, that makes it so much easier. John
BTW: Did you notice when you go thru the list of cancers that Lymphoma is missing. You think they be signifying us. Maybe they figure its just a minor cancer and not worth listing. Wouldn't that be nice?
Non Hodgkins is where "we" would be I know we like to think of it as Lymphoma but it is non hodgkins lymphoma.

Good PointCOBRA666 said:Got me to thinking
Hearing this about Beth has really got me thinking about other members that were on here when I first started posting. Vinny, Cooking girl, Maggie, Tom vine, Catwink and others that I can't remember because its been so long since they have posted. Scuttlebug came later, but I wonder about her too. Most of you will probably not remember them, but the old timers will and also remember ones that I have forgotten to list. John
John,
I have been wondering the same thing. As someone else said I sure hope they are just busy living and enjoying and don't have the time to post!
I don't post as much as I once did, but I check on us atleast once a week. I find such helpful information and support here still after 3 years. And as one of the older members it feels good to offer some hard earned advice on occasion. This road is just full of potholes isn't it?
But of course this news was more of a crater.
All the best

Donna,
I rarely post anymore myself as well. I get to wrapped up in what is going on with all this political corruptness and its affect it is going to have on us as some have seen already. I just log on and read the post and every now and then I will jump in and make a comment. It keeps me off the soapbox that way. I tried going back and finding some of the old members like Jim was saying. Its been so long since they have posted I must be leaving part of their name out and can't find their last post or log in date. I tried Catwink and nothing at all comes up. Miss maggie comes up as years ago as the last log in and I know she has posted since then. Hopefully they will let us know what is gong on and like you and some others say, "They are out enjoying life". John

John, it is more difficult if you don't have the persons complete login name (to just use the search members).
There are a couple ways you can try:
1. Use CSN Email:
Start to send a new message and type in part of the name like "catwink" and it will show all logins with "catwink". With that you find
"catwink22". Vinny for example is "Vinny59".
2. Use "Search CSN Content" and look for their name in the posts:
For example search for "Maggie" and you will find posts from with "maggie" in the text and get the login name from a post you are sure is from her. Click on their avatar to go to "about me" page. Her login is "Miss Maggie".
This is a pain but will allow you to find most people. They have made some improvements on the site but it is lacking in certain things - this being an example .

Thanks Jim,
I got it now. I have found most of them. Its been a while since quite a few of them have even logged on. I guess they are out enjoying life. Can't blame them for that. Just wish they would let us know everything is Ok so we wouldn't worry about them so much. Thanks again, john

so nice tread how much youCOBRA666 said:Sorry to hear about Beth
She was such an inspiration to all of us that knew her from the site. She will be missed. I often thought of her, even though I do not post as much as I used too. Do not feel bad about not letting us know what was going on. We know Beth was on your mind at the time and nothing else. That is 110% understandable. So many people on here will post for a while and disappear without a word. That is what was worrying me about Beth because I knew she was not that way. I appreciate you responding to us. Thank you. John
so nice tread how much you cared about beth. You were a connection to the outside when she was too sick or tired to go out. bless youall and good luck. Jim

Hi Jim
Beth cared alot about us too. I wish you peace and comfort. You are welcome here anytime and you may message me anytime. I 'm no expert but I got big "Yoda" ears so I listen well (most of the time).
Hugs,
Jim
