My new "hair"
Not to be outdone by Eileen (Cypress Cynthia), I'm posting a picture of my new wig. Yep, I've gone blonde. This is about the color I colored my hair when I used to color it. Several years ago I let it go gray and I thought I was happy with gray hair, so I've been buying gray wigs. I don't think I'll ever go back to gray (or at least until I change my mind). And I can be gray, red, brown, black, or blonde with the blink of an eye. Not so bad.
You might be able to see my eyelash extensions and permanent makeup. I have NO other eye makeup on.
I've come to terms with this no hair thing and this wig really helped because my own hair never looked this good. . It's been over 2 1/2 years since my last chemotherapy and I guess this is how it's going to be for me - either a hat or a wig. I'm just one of the unlucky ones whose hair did not fully return after Taxotere.
So happy 66th birthday (tomorrow) to me. I guess you could say I have had "work done" because of my phoney hair and eyes. Frankly, I know a few women my age that should try it!

Thank you all for the compliments. Of course, I would never post a photo of myself that wasn't flattering! Except, if you're interested, I just took a photo of the real me. When I wear a hat, it just looks like I have a short haircut and am wearing a hat. The color will grow out and I'll try again for a blonde vs. whatever the heck this is.
