Yes it is the Army Birthday

Yes it is the Army Birthday and I am going to celebrate with alot of Army Veterans tonight and our Local VFW Post. My late husband was a Vietnam Veteran in the Army.

My late husband was also an Army Vietnam vet.  Both my daughters were in the Army.  Those men and women are strong and hard working and we have so much to thank them for.

I was "Born Army"

I was born into the Army but grew up USAF.  Daddy was in the Army when I was born (he was pre-Pearl Harbor) but switched to the USAF when it was formed.  I was Army when women finally officially became in the real Army - before that day in 1976, we were still actually in the WAACs (Womens Auxilllary Army Corp).  I then went on to be a Navy wife for 19 1/2 yrs of Hubby's 20 yrs AD.
