Smalldoggroomer, they do haveSIROD said:For Kay
Hi Kay,
A few years back, a friend who ran the local Relay for Life said they often use wheel chairs for people who can't walk and want to participate in the relay. I have a brace of my foot and can walk short distances but not the long haul of a relay. I also have shortness of breath as an added factor. I declined but I do believe it is an option. Perhaps you can email the local ACS in your area.
Best,
Doris
Smalldoggroomer, they do have wheelchairs for those that need it from what I have been told. I've never been to one, but, that is what I've heard others say. So maybe you can participate if you want to.
