in Esophageal Cancer #1

Dad finally seems to be turning the corner for better days. I got to take him to bingo on Sunday for a 4 hour adventure and he was able to hang in there.  I was overwhelmed with joy because I never thought I would see him get out and do something so soon.  He's learning what he can and can't tolerate as far as food but he's gained 3 pounds since surgery 4/1/13, so he must be doing something right.  I thank god everyday for getting my father through this, and pray for good news after the PET SCAN in July.  I know its weighing heavy on my dad's mind.

    So happy that your dad is coming along! Hopefully everyone is resting better now. Keep us posted on his recovery and upcoming scan.
