Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
My mom was just diagnoised with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. She has a neuroendcrine intermediate grade tumor in the lung and has spread to her liver. They also think it might be in her bone marrow. They wanted to to a bone marrow biospsy, but her platelets are to low. So now they have decided to go after this with chemo right now. She is at The City of Hope so she is in a good facility however they gave no real chance of any extended survival. Is there anybody that can provide me with information that might help my situation? I am currently researching several clinical trails through NCI - but was hoping somebody might share with me something new that might help this very bleak situation.
Thank You All.
Marc
