need your widsom
Pardon me for talking poo but...for the last nine days I have had a problem with not being able to use the bathroom. An issue I have not had 5 times in my entire 54 years. I've been having pain in left hip area as well. During my last chemo treatment in '11, I asked my oncologist what signs I needed to look for if it were to return since I obviously missed it the first time around He told me to watch for any change in my BMs. Well, this is a change....I will be two years June 10th...going to try to get into the doctor tomorrow...or am I just panicking over nothing? Thank you for your wisdom.

Poo
My poop changes daily so if that were something for me to look for I'd be totally lost. Sometimes your body goes through adjustments but if you aren't going at all, maybe you can take something to help, which I'm not sure if you tried. Pain can sometimes be a problem too, but I've had pain too and I'm always concerned. You just never know, especially the older we get. Glad that you are going into the doctor. Have you had a CT scan lately or within the last six months. Usually they do a pelvic CT when they do a scan so that would have shown something if it was there. Hoping all is still well. Keep us informed.

update
Thank you, Kim. I went to my doctor today. He took some xrays and did find "some" poo on my left side and on my right which he said was unusual and crazy me thought I didn't have a right side anymore So I just drank 10 ounces of magnesium citrate..yuck. He wants to clean me out and see if I work on my own by the Wednesday or Thursday. If not, then the July scan and colonoscopy gets moved up. On top of that I have yet another kidney infection....I've had so many of these since my surgery in '11. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a connection My last scan was 6 months ago and my last scope was June '12.

The Mag Citrate, I've got a bottle waiting for me in the fridge. I'm glad that you got some reassuring news to at least try this. Hoping that upcoming tests come out good and clean. It's always hard to find an abnormality in your schedule as then everything becomes a what "if". Sorry about the kidney infection, hope that gets better soon. Hope all goes well for you.
