My Pink Sisters, Can I get the pink bus for Monday Morning?

I have an appointment with my oncologist and I am alittle scared.  This is a routine exam and I should not scared but I am.

It is good to followup, the bus will help you get where you need to be.  It is natural to be nervous, but very good to go in for checkups, they just helped me and it was worth it to go in.  We are with you!

I wouldn't miss this ride for anything,I'll bring some healthy snacks. It's normal to be nervous about your scans because of that initial diagnoes your mental state thinks its going to happen again.~~Hugs to you~~ ~~MollyZ~~

I'll Be There On That Bus ...

Just remember Mommaellen that 70% of women never have to go through the ordeal again.  They remain NED for life.  Trouble is the 30% who don't keep the other hostage.  However, for your appointment keep thinking that you are in that 70% Club.

I'll bring some lobster rolls for your lunch and pink napkins to go with your NED status.  Then I have to leave for a ct scan to see how my treatments are working out.  This is my 2nd chemo,  my first was in 1994/95 then for 18 years it was hormonal drug therapies only.  I will start my 3rd cycle of chemo on the 22nd.

I will be there bright and early to ride along on the magical pink bus with all of the other pinkies! 

I will bring "my usual" hot coffee, homemade blueberry muffins and croissants. 

It's normal to be scared and I hope that all of us can help you to relax.

I remember always being a bit stressed for a couple of days before visits and scans even though I really didn't think anything would be found.  I think knowing that there is that slight chance keeps it in the back of your mind all the time. 

Just remember out of the thousands that are diagnosed, 70% never have a recurrance.

Pink Bus Ride Monday

Im In ! Ive never been on the pink bus yet and now is the perfect time, I will ride with you if you ride with me on Tuesday. Tuesday is the day I see my doc and get the results of my brain MRI, MUGA and PET scan. I'm scared too, like real scared but I've got all you wonderful Pink Ladies and Gents to ride and guide me............(((((((hugs)))))))))
