    I'm on the prairie in western SD, a little east of Paha Sapa (Black Hills).

    I am 'from' FL though being a native and lived more than 1/2 of my life there - most of the time in/near Punta Gorda. Also spent 12 yrs on Whidbey Island, WA.

    My name here is deceiving.  While growing up, I lived in several states, one being California (on the Mojave).  I before settling in CNY as an adult, I lived in MD and SC, as well as CA. 

    My father was from the Binghamton area and returned there, with the family, while I was in college out-of-state.
