chicago area NOCC walk

We did our walk today!! It was a run/walk. Half of my team ran and the other half walked. We were at cellular field in Chicago. It was great. My team was able to get 27 members and $1,670. 00. We are proud and glad to have been a part of making awareness for ovarian cancer. I hope our money contributes to research to get this disease and reduce those who have to endure its rath. I think the whole chicago chapter raised 337, 000. We almost made the 400,000 goal.
It was very emotional for me to be with all of those survivors and all of our supporters!!!
