Asking For Prayers, Please

My husband has taken a turn for the worse. I am in ICU with him & a nurse has brought me this computer to use.
At 10 AM, he was wanting to get off the blood machine & get on with rehab. By noon, when I arrived, he had spiked a 104 fever & been moved to ICU. They think he vomited & aspirated. He is now semi-conscious & has been intubated. His tube feed was also not digesting, so a CT has been done of his abdomen & a fluid sample taken from his lungs. He may have pneumonia, but also has sepsis again. The doctor said to have my daughter come. It is a matter of time. His heart is working at 10% as a machine breathes for him. My daughter & son-in-law are driving tomorrow from Kentucky. Please pray for a safe journey for them and for my husband.
Luv,
Wolfen

I am so sad to hear this turn of events...my heart is breaking for you. I wish so much there was more I could offer up than virtual words of sympathy....they seem so inadequate. I'm praying for a safe journey for you daughter....and for your man.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My heart is aching for you and your daughter. Of course I know there are no words I could ever say to comfort you. Just know I care and a whole lot of people on this site care. We care about you and your family and pray for God to heal your husband. I am a huge believer in prayer but I also know that not all of the warriors survive. I wish I could hug you right now.

so sorry - stay strong
Wolfen,
I am really sorry to hear the latest news is so bad. So many things all going haywire at once. You have been and remain the best caretaker and need to strive to remain strong especially during these most difficult times. Unfortunately, all direction and decisions are on your shoulders now, so please take comfort that your family will be with you soon and together. God Bless you, Don
