Order of posts on the discussion board

This is a sensitive topic so I'll try to be as sensitive as I can. When members message on the board, the reply makes an historic post move to the top of the board as if it's a new one. I find this distressing not least because the original postee may have passed on and ordering makes things look as if they are still alive. I'd welcome your comments and if people think the same, I'll write to the administrators about it. x
