arthritis
I have been on Mobic (perscription) for years, just upped to 15 mg which has helped immensely. My hands were very swollen and my finger tip on ring finger is fuzed, no longer bends. Finally saw a rheumatologist and diagnosed with Erosive Arthritis. On Plaquenil, a slow acting anti inflammatory, feeling better. The most helpful thing I've done for my severe stiffness was go off wheat. Was reading about WHEAT BELLY book to get rid of middle and saw arthritis improvement in many of the book reviews. Decided to give it a 3 week trial. 5 days in my hands were much less swollen and my stiffness was cut in half. Not even tempted to eat wheat, the improvement is so remarkable. Need more planning to eat wheat free, but it is so worth it. Getting physical therapy to increase the strength in the muscles that have atrophied from so much inactivity. Feeling years younger. Keep seeking a doc til you find one that helps the problem. Good luck.
