    Ginger?

    Hey,

I wonder if there really is something to ginger. I love ginger and make ginger tea alot and use a lot in various dishes. My neignbor brought over two boxes of various ginger teas after she heard about my cancer. I wonder if that was just coincidence or she read something that ginger helps cancer patients undergoing treatment.  Maybe you are onto something. I start rads and chemo next week, same as you carbo weekly, so I will fill up on anything ginger this weekend -- ginger ice cream, ginger tea, ginger in foods, etc. lol

    Ginger

I do know that I have read a lot concening ginger helping with nausea. And I think that's where a lot of the giving someone ginger ale when they have an upset stomach comes from.

But at the same time, I believe I have read that the ginger ale should be used only moderately..., mainly because of the sugar content and healthy diet, etc... Nothing to do with sugar feeding cancer, which is always a total debate in itself.
