Welcome
Hi rubiatexan and welcome to the site. I read from your profile that you're doing RCHOP. I assume you are also doing the dreaded prednisone (steroid). What kind of side effects are you curious about? There will be others here to greet you shortly. Great group of people here. Liz is from Texas (I lived in Houston for many years but am in NC now).
Again welcome and big hugs to you.

hey!
my first question is girl related. do you have a picc line?
Cindy
Hello! What variety of NHL do you have? Someone here will have the same type, or the same treatment, and can share experiences. As to a PICC line, I have a Power Port in my right chest (since August 2008) and I had a Hickman catheter in my left chest during apheresis (stem cell collection). So, lotsa plumbing experience, almost all good.

Hi Cindy, I'm new here too. Only been part of the group for a few weeks. I have Follicular Non-Hogkins Lymphoma and just finished 8 rounds of R-chop. It seems to me that most people here have a port rather than the picc line, myself included, and I am curious about why your doctor chose that option for you?
If I can help in any way, let me know, OK?

Sorry, I can't answer that question for you because I went through menopause a couple of years ago, (55 now), but it sure wouldn't surprise me. Your body is going through a lot of stress and grief right now. Did they do a pregnancy test before they started treatment? Check with your oncologist's office and whatever you do, DON'T stop using birth control because your period is not showing up on a regular basis.
Wish I could of more help.
