To finally stop thinking all my aches and pains weren't cancer coming back. It's such a traumatic experience to get this diagnosis, have treatment, and then to heal And be "normal" again . It really took 18 months or more to realize a headache was just a headache and not a tumor, or that nausea was just a GI bug, that the pain in my gut was just a bad meal not something awful!!! I'll bet this is "just a bug" ... But it takes time to trust that's all it is! Hang in there my dear friend .... I'm with you.
I'm going through this right now. I think every pain in my butt or every time I get the sniffles I'm afraid of the cancer is back or the treatments didn't work. I just posted something regarding this. It is awful what we have all been through. The psychological effects are maddening.
