Tony -- I am going to watch the whole video later. I got up
on the site right as I was fixing dinner and the first close-up image of the ill gentleman ... well, I got off quickly and will resume later.
I have often wondered why Linus Pauling's research into the health benefits of Vitamin C discussed in the 70's never received more attention (and no, I do not think it is a Big Pharma conspiracy). Do you know if this Vitamin C protocol (discussed in the video) was ever duplicated to establish another case whereby an individual responded in this fashion?.

If anyone else had such a dramatic response, this video touched very close to home for me, when my mother went into coma I also asked for Vit C, it was refused... obviously.
Since then I have wrote off Vit C as 'mostly harmless' and that it probably couldn't help with serious conditions, but, a child on our BT forum has started doing it and sparked my interest again.
I know there are people here using IV vit C for a long time and could probably add much more to this than me.
I also imagine that hooking up a drip puts many people off trying this, however this liposomal Vit C looks like it may work without the hassle.
Our son looks like he's doing great, thanks for asking Cynthia, we postponed his MRI till after his birthday but we are teriffied.
Looking at plan B and C.

Very wise words...
*edit* the FDA stopped a clinical trial with high dose Vit C.....NOW YOU KNOW IT WORKS!!! http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01125449?intr="Ascorbic+Acid"&rank=6
can't wait to hear the defenders/appologisers of the FDA....

Dr Frederick Klenner had IV vitamin C results against lethal viral infections like this beginning in the early 1940s. I am counting liposomal C as an enhanced oral C, not ready to call it a replacement for IV vitamin C by a long shot.

Its the anti-viral part that interests me, just wondering how many times the IV vit C debate has been run on forums for the last 10 years! ....bbbbbut no double blind controlled trials!!!!
Anyone here ever read a double blind placebo study on vaccines?... no...but babies are given vaccinations....ever read a double blind placebo study on radiation?... no...good luck finding one!
Funny how selective critisism kicks in when it goes against lifelong programming.

regarding the initial image on the video ... I was literally fixing dinner and turned the video on ... did not mean to diminish the video. Strongly urge others to watch it as it is an inspiring story of a family that fought for an alternative therapy, won, and the result was the survival of their beloved family member.
PS. Glad your son is doing great. I understand your MRI anxiety as my husband has his brain scan first follow-up after SRS radiosurgery in mid-May.
Best -- Cynthia

"A significant increase in the level of serum lipid peroxide (P<0.001), with concomitant decrease in the levels of serum vitamin E and vitamin C, (P<0.001) in Group II patients were noticed as compared to the healthy control Group I. Our findings suggest that increased oxidative stress and reduced antioxidants defense mechanism may play an important role in progression and pathogenesis of colorectal cancer."

"In this study, ascorbic acid (1-3 mM) decreased RKO and SW480 colon cancer cell proliferation and induced apoptosis and necrosis, and this was accompanied by downregulation of Sp1, Sp3, and Sp4 proteins. In addition, ascorbic acid decreased expression of several Sp-regulated genes that are involved in cancer cell proliferation [hepatocyte growth factor receptor (c-Met), epidermal growth factor receptor and cyclin D1], survival (survivin and bcl-2), and angiogenesis [vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and its receptors (VEGFR1 and VEGFR2)].
