walk for cancer in Washington for womens cancers
My daughter and I are going to walk in this walk in Washington DC this year in November and I wanted to throw this out there to anyone who wants to join us so we can pull a team together and raise more funds for it as well. It would be nice to register early and get started on raisng awareness and funds. I will register on May 1, so that gives everyone a chance to think about it and get back to me. Here is the link. We actually could call the team Procipio after Linda for starting this board, but I would check with her sons first. http://www.endwomenscancer.org/ I am alsp pasting some info :
GCAM Courses: In addition to the National Race on Sunday, November 3, the 2013 Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Movement weekend will feature three concurrent courses for survivors of cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer on Saturday, November 2, 2013, as well as a state-of-the-art Physicians Course for surgeons, nurses, P.A.’s and other health providers. More information will be available in Summer 2013.
Any thoughts, ideas, or questions? I know I had one response already, but thought I would put them all on one forum topic. Tami
