I read about Imerman Angels on this forum. Dixondukes mentioned it and I was intrigued.  It is affiliated with Gilda's House and provides one-on-one cancer support from people who have had cancer and can provide support.  I volunteered as a mentor.  A rep from Imerman Angels called tonight to interview me.  I was accepted but she stated it may be a while to be matched up to a person struggling with cancer.  I hope I can help someone on this journey.  I've learned a lot from my mistakes while going through chemo and think I can help others who reach out for help through Imerman Angels.

Thanks Dixondukes for introducing Imerman Angels to me!

I totally agree with you, YoVita.  I wish I would have known about the program when I was diagnosed and was going through treatment.  I really needed to ralk to someone and didn't know where to turn.  I didn't know about this forum until after I finished treatment.
