    Has anyone heard from

    Has anyone heard from Norma2?  I keep checking and it does not seem like she has been on or responded to any message traffic for a while.

    I tried to go through all the message traffic looking to see if she ever stated where she was or a different email and I could not find anything but could not find anything.  I guess we will just have to be patient and keep her in our prayers and wait for her to show up.  trish

    Hey Trisha and Connie, I have been unturning every stone to find Norma.  I only live about 20 miles from her, one town over and still can't find her!  I don't know her last name, but knew she had opened a new business so I check with the Chamber of Congress and the BBB. still no luck!  Norma and Susangr went to M.D. Anderson at about the same time and I don't think she has heard from her either.  Jan has also been wondering, but no one seems to have a last name or email address.  You all keep praying that she is ok.  I think she needs ten lashes with a limp noodle for worring us!  Best, Debrajo

    I found in one of her messages where she said she could not give medical advise becuase she sold lumber.  [Content deleted by CSN administrator.] But I would hate to call the number listed and ask to talk to Norma to ask do you have cancer so I did not call because I would have felt embrassed.  I could not find her daughters name in any of the messages wither knowing that she got married I tried to find that connect too and could not. trish

    Can't find Norma either.....

    I sent an email but no response.  It's always a worry when people just vanish!  I am hoping she is on some exotic vacation where there is no way to easily communicate with us! 

    Unfortunately we were not able to meet at MD Anderson.

    heyTrisha, I don't think that is our Norma.  [Content deleted by CSN administrator.] She sold that business(I called there and they said she did sell out to them, but wouldn'/couldn't give me any info on her, not even her last name).  She had mentioned she had opened up a new business "closer to home" which is in Orange, Texas.  That was were I checked with the BBB and COC.  Orange is about 20 miles from me, Houston is about 100 miles.  Soooo, I am at a loss right now.  I think she would contact some one of us if she could, because she would see how worried we are and even if she just lerked the boards she would post something.  Maybe she is on a long vacation back to New Orleans where she was raised!  Let's hope!  Debra

    I checked on FB for the above name, and can't see anyone in Texas with that name.  Debrajo, didn't you have a different last name for Norma?

    Hey Jan, [Content deleted by CSN administrator.] Chemo fog has done a number on my brain with getting things mixed up.It could be Jones for all I know.  Wish someone would remember her last name.  It is amazing that we all know so much intemate things and details about ourselves, but nothing as simple a a last name.  Will keep trying.  Debra

    Oh darn that chemo fog....mine is finally getting better some 4 years after treatments ended.  Still have post-its all over the house, otherwise, I'd be even worse.

    At least we have a picture of Norma from her profile here, so I tried when searching FB to find her face, but to no avail.  Like finding a needle in a haystack.  Yes she deserves a whipping with a wet noodle...darn that gal to get us all in a state of worry!

    Below is off her profile on this site and do see a doctor name and mentions a hospital.  Any thoughts going that route to the doc?  With privacy issues, not sure how much info we can gain from a call to some of these places.  As well, last time she was on this site was Feb 14, 2013, so not like she's hiding.  All we can do is keep on searching and one day she'll reappear, as I'm very hopeful.

    Thought --- try going back thru her postings and see if had a dropping of a family member name?

    I don't know Norma personally

    I googled [deleted by CSN administrator] that Debra Jo said Norma used to own. Found out her and her husband's last name. Then searched for it in Texas.

    I hope it's the right Norma.

    With the advent of the internet we have more options.  One that I just looked at www.whitepages.com shows her name and husband and living in Orange, TX, but didn't pull up phone numbers.  

    I've had to do this with contacts for my husband's business and many take weeks to locate, but generally finally find them.

    Any one coming to the table to offer a call to Norma?  She wouldn't know me from a crowd -- how about Debra?

    Ok ladies, I talked to Norma in person today!  Health wise she is doing ok, ca125 is up a little, but scan showed ok.  Her lung scan was clean also. She will check in soon and explain what is going on.  She has got her hands really full with family and thanks everyone for their concern and ask for lots of prayers.  Thanks to Alexandra for the dective work!  We still have to keep those foreiners in our sight.....they find out all our secrets!  Or maybe she is a plant for CIA?  LOL  Thanks a bunch ladies, Debra
