Celebrex-O.T.

I was just prescrided Ccelebrex for my arthirtic hands. I had surgery on two fingers some year back. Hands getting worse by the day. I just bought arthristis gloves i wear most of the time. I also go parafin (wax) bath for my  hands. (at suggestion of nurse at hospital) I also started taking Fish oil (suggestion of my sis) and glucosamine-chondrodin (nurses suggestion)

 

Any experience with any of the above? pros or cons, side effects?

 I took Celebrex once for pain when my spine was fractured.  It didn't help much but it shouldn't have, right!?  I don't know what they were thinking.  I didn't have any side effects with it though.  It is supposed to be really great for arthritis pain - give it some time, it takes a few days to kick in.  I hope it works perfectly for you!

i read up on the med

i read up on the med online...says if intestinal or stomach bleeds do  not take. I have had ulcertive colitis for 20 yrs-right now no bleeding but mush of the 20 yrs I have..so I think I"LL pass up on this med.
