Vegetable Fat Tied to Lower Prostate Cancer Death Risk

    Changed to mediterranean diet

I was bordering on having to start HT in Dec. 2012.  My PSA had increased from 0.1 to 0.2 from May 2012 to Dec. 2012. I found a good MO and she advised to wait another 6 months and see what happened. We talked a little about diet and i decided to switch to a mediterranean diet with no red meat at all. In May i increased from 0.2 to 0.26. It seemed to slow down a little for whatever reason.

Doctor will not say it was all from the diet change but it sure did not hurt to change plus it is heart healthy. Got another 6 months and will see what happens again. Myself i am convinced it has helped slow it down.
