    I hope

you will enjoy your much-deserved retirement.  You have been fighting this disease so hard and I pray you will soon be NED.  I too miss my co-workers and the orderly routine of my former life but I am happy to be able to do what I want when I want.  I still see the coworkers who became friends over the years.  I know you took care of so many people during your career and now it is time for you to be number one.

My best to you and your family.

    Congratulations!

So happy for you! I quit working last March and was so very sad for about a month. Then I was glad to not have to worry about scheduling things around work etc.  I still have some scrubs to get rid of. Most of the time I love it. My husband is not retiring till this Dec. so I have some lonely days in the winter so I have to make myself  volunteer and do some activities. I have a knitting group etc. I too keep in touch with the girls I was working with when I got sick.

You have worked so hard to be NED, I hope you enjoy a wonderful retirement. You certainly deserve it!

Congratulations!  Sure, you'll miss the routine, and the busyness, and your co-workers, and your patients...for about a minute or two!  Now everyday is Saturday for you!

    Enjoy your retirement Val

Do all the fun things you always wanted to do, but did not have time.

I am going back to work on Monday, March 11th after the 10-months' "cancer sabbatical". Working is so overrated...
