I have been NED for 14 months. I was dx 3C 6/11.
I am still NED (no evidence of disease) after my first treatment (actually surgery) - two years and four months.

NED Almost 5 Years!
I was diagnosed stage 3C in July of 2007. Surgery followed by 11 months of carbo and taxol/taxotere. I enjoyed nearly 5 years before my first reoccurance!
I had 6 more months of carbo/taxol last year and strated on Doxil this January.
Even though I am back on treatment I feel very lucky and blessed that I had that long of a time and that I have and continue to do so well. I always try to remimd myself that there is the other side of those otherwise pretty scary statistics!

Love this wig Alexandra!
It's called Voltage by Raquel Welch color glazed sand. I confess to Photoshopping my chubby cheeks down a couple of inches.

I finished my front line chemo in Dec. of 2010 then had a pet/ct scan which found kidney cancer. I had my right kidney removed inJan,2011
After 30days I began six rounds of Avastin during which my ca125 slowly kept rising til it doubled after the last round
So I guess I had two months of remission just enough time to remove my kidney and have a short recovery
But I am still here and I am feeling well!
