Dr Appt
Had Dr appt.... lymph node that lite up in previous scan still there. But had a slight increase in size. For 6 months it has been stable but now grew from 1.0 to 1.4 so biopsy a must. Dr said with cancer usually in 6 months it would have spread to multiple lymph nodes and would have doubled in size. He is leaning towards it being nothing but won't rule out cancer. Has anyone had this experience. In case I haven't said it recently... cancer sucks.

Always aroller coaster, huh, Laura. When will you have the biopsy? Have to be sure to send some good vibes your way that day. Good luck.
LOL Connie, I needed that laugh!!! yes always a roller coaster.. although boring would be nice! trying to get my PET scan to another Radiologist that my Dr said he would use for his wife. Once he reviews the scans he will get me in asap... I'm hoping for mid week, then meet my Onc/Gyn 2/27

So sorry about that pesky
So sorry about that pesky lymph node! I always read your posts because I feel like we are on the same path for some reason. I feel encouraged with your good reports.
So, I am going with what the doc is thinking; if it were cancer it would be in more places. I am beginning to be more optimistic with each visit without recurrence, but this is the scariest roller coaster I've ever been on!
At any rate, I will be anxiously awaiting your results!
Sending good vibes your way,
Rachelle

Thank you Rachelle, I've been following your journey also. I believe we are about the same age. The Dr told me that with each scan the chances of it coming back are alittle less. These scans are just so frightening, but then the thought of not going is even more frightening.
I hope to get my reports today and drop it off at the Dr office. Thank you for your note and your support. This site is so helpful when you need a shoulder to cry on or words of encouragement.

Thank You Kathy, I'm so happy that all is good with you. Its so good to hear great news!
I dropped off my report and PET Scan disc today. The Dr will review and call me to schedule a CT guided biopsy. I don't know much about the procedure, I hope to get more info when they call.
Enjoy your Valentine's Day!
