Lymph nodes...
Hello all...
Just returned from my GP... Local doctor. I've had a small lump come up under my left arm. Been nearly 2yrs NED from PPC 3c and have been feeling very well.
Doctor wants to refer me back to my Oncologist and I am happy for that but can PPC metastasize to lymph nodes?
Want to be a bit discreet from my family as they will worry... Any info or experiences like this from anyone would be much appreciated.
Rainy old day here in London town!!
Thank you xxx

Lymph Nodes
Hi: I am so sorry to hear that. And, yes, as far as I know invasion of lymph nodes is always a possibility as everything in the gastro-intestinal area seems to be connected. I know my oncologist always checks for it, but so far so good. If it is, then removing the affected nodes should be relatively easy? At least easier than the peritoneum surgery. Keep us posted.

Sorry to hear about this turn of events but sounds like you are feeling well and strong in yourself which is a good sign. I don't have any experience to add but sending love and good wishes that all is well.

Lymph nodes continued...
Thank you for your comments people. I had a fine needle biopsy on Friday and will get results next week. Mammogram was clear but the ultrasound clearly found an "olive" shaped swelling in the left side. If it's not a recurrence ( and I am confused on that) not sure what else it could be... Gonna be an anxious week!

Good to hear you have had the biopsy so wont be too long before you get some answers. The uncertainty is so difficult to deal with! All you can do is try and keep busy and focus on the fact that you are feeling well.
Let us know.
Love, Julie
