Sister after chemo
My sister finished chemo over 2 months ago.Her hair hasn't even begun to grow. She's always had very thin hair.I thought it might come back somewhat thicker but nothing so far.
How long could it take or do some never get hair growth after chemo. She's discouraged and I am also for her.

mine grew in slowly, but it
mine grew in slowly, but it did grow in it took 6 months to go topless and it was still pretty short. it is thicker but prob because it is curly. the lower regions came in first , with eyebrows and eyelashes coming in quickly. I would be pretty upset too. Chemo brain prevents me from remembering her screen name but she has had this issue too perhaps she will chime in.

Thank You ,Maybe there is hope.I need to ask her about her eyebrows and eyelasshes. She never mentioned them. If she lost her hair I would think the lashes and eyebrows would go also. I saw her a just before she started chemo but couldn't see her for the holidays. So many in our families were sick. She called to warn me her grandkids were sick and not to come to a get a together. And my daughter in law was sick.
I was hoping her hair came back thicker since she has the thinnest hair to begin with. Still gonna hope in time it's back. I guess its a hit and miss for everyone.
Between the time of my sister dx, her surgery and what treatment(4 rounds of chemo) she had it was probably less than 6 months it was all over. She even drove herself to chemo. She is so independent.Asks for no help.
I didnt need chemo or radiation so my time span after sugeries(lumpectomy and a check margin surgery) etc was 4 months.
