Hi and welcome to the board, you will get tons of info and support here. This is a very old post so if you start a new post and updte your member 'about me' page which is located at the top of the page the guys here will much better be able to communicate with you.
Re your cat scan, doesn't take long, isn't painful, though when they inject the contrast you will feel all warm and like you peed, (only like, not actually peed!) they will send the results to your primary care provider or GP and you will go from there based on the pathology they see.

if most people that have a large cyst does it usually mean a bad outcome?
