For those of you with kids/Camp Kessem

Please check out this website if you have kids between 6-16. Camp Kessem is a week long sleep away camp for children with a parent who has/had any kind of cancer. My daughter went last year. She had a wonderful time, was too exhausted to really talk on the day she got home. Once she was more rested she talked about camp for at least 3 weeks! It also sparked some really good conversations between the two of us about cancer and treatments. We are planning for her to go again this year.
They have an online application process, which I believe is open now.
Hugs,
Linda

we love camp kesem!
My oldest daughter has attended Camp Kesem for the past two summers and I can not say enough good things about her experience! She loves it! She really liked being able to talk with other kids who "got it", and just doing all the "summer camp" things that she'd never done before. And it's at no cost!
