Clinical trial with Dalantercept?
Hello ladies, I am from the ovarian cancer board but I am entering into a clinical trial for a new drug called Dalantercept. I have been told that women with endometrial cancer have also been put on this trial. I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or maybe tried it? It supposedly blocks blood and nutrient supply to the tumor, and is given in a shot every 3 weeks. I already have a re-occurance with 2 tumors after having 6 rounds on Taxol ending in August. I was even on a low dose monthly Taxol clinical trial when they started growing. My Dr says my tumors are now platinum resistant. Really hoping this drug works, and would really appreciate anyone's input. Thank you.
