This has been really very sad, the passing of our dear sisters in pink.   I will miss Kari's posts, her energy and her wonderful contribution to this board and to life itself and most of all her courage in facing what most people fear.   I hope whatever place she is in, she is blessed and at peace. Our love, thoughts and prayers to Kari and her family.

Beauty is everywhere, Every personal connection has meaning and

Laughter is is life's sweetest creation....

Kari has joined this board CSN in September of 2009 while undergoing treatment for stage III C triple negative breast cancer. While we never met in person however we stayed close, followed each other medical treatment, especially for the past two years. After finishing her initial treatments, including CHemo, mastectomy, radiation she was with NED for 6 months. Unfortunately, cancer progressed in the end of 2010 and Kari returned to the fighting ring.

She has tried her best striking back still living a normal life inspiring others. She was showing us that

life does not stop with stage IV diagnosis, it is possible to be

happy, managing graduations, wedding, traveling. She is my hero who used smile against cancer and is having a victory today.

She has helped very many people through her journey who will keep memories alive

    To New Flower

    Dear New Flower,

I am so very sorry for the lost of such a good friend.  One never forgets a person who touched the heart.  I was surprise to read how young Kari was and so wise for her years.  She was a wonderful example on how life does go on even with a diagnose of stage IV.

    My sympathies,

    Doris
