Bump in the road
This has been a long and slow recovery. I am half way done with radiation and yes, chemo this time. Sunday, very early in the morning, my surgery site (eye area) was beginning to ooze. Got some medical help later in the day--doctor took a culture to send to lab, antibiotic and opened up the area a bit for more drainage. Treatment has stopped for the week, many doctors on phone (which I am glad for), MRI Tuesday morning and a quick trip to Stanford Thursday (I get to see my sister!). Hopefully good news by the end of the week.
I am not on the computer much, vision issues because it is difficult to use my glasses and I am just plain tired all of the time.
Think of all of you often.
Bev

Learning...
Bev,
if I have learned anything through these experiences with my husbands illness is that rarely does the expected happen as expected. I am sorry you've met with changes and surprises, and hope your treatment is tolerable and that you get your well deserved naps.
you are in my prayers!

Bev....I saw that you had posted
earlier.....it was SO nice to see "KTeacher" again. You had quite a serious surgery, then they threw rads and chemo at you afterwards....no doubt you are tired. I'm just so glad to see you back here again.....Wishing you the best of everything....I've thought of you often in the last few months.

KT.....so good to hear from you !
Hello Bev,
Been wondering how you've been. It was a pleasant surprise to see your post ! I hope any and all issues can be resolved quickly. I will be keeping you in my prayers and thoughts. Recovery takes alot out of a person...let alone getting through treatment. Stay strong Bev ! Katie
