Phrannie...
You wouldn't believe the emotions that went with those swings! I had just lost a close friend/classmate to a very rare cancer just a month prior to this event. I had to be pulled down off that car....I didn't want to stop. Anger then tears...
It was worth it though!!!!

You bettcha John... LOLSkiffin16 said:Kreg's Daily Driver....
You clearing out the man car...?
Powerful feeling...
I will try and see if I can find the picture of what that car looked like after the event was done. There was hardly ANYTHING left of it! You could not see any white...it was completly black from being so broken up. I highly recommend this at any Relay For Life event for a fundraiser. We have done it the last two years and it's been a HIT! This year will have a completely new meaning to me with it and I can't wait to take a HUGE slug for Kreg & the rest of my H & N family here on CSN!!

Matt....The Boots.....CivilMatt said:smack down
Cris,
Nice to put a face with the name.
Put me down for 3 for $5.
Do you have a ladder?
Matt
Why the boots?
Ladder? No, ladder...lol. I'm short, but I can climb! I will slam it 3 times for ya Matt!!!
The Boots were mandatory according to the Relay For Life rules and regulations for us to bring a demolitioned car to the event. We had to wear safety glasses as well. The boots were pretty clumsy...but I suppose they protected my feet from debris, etc. LOL.
There was a 19yr boy that came up and watched for awhile and had tears in his eyes, my girlfriend walked up to him and started chatting and found he had just lost his dad about 2 weeks prior. She handed him $5 to get up there and slam that CAR...and he hesitated, but then went for it. I never saw such anger in those slams. When he got down from the car, he said it really felt good...in fact it was the best he felt in a long time. It is incredible to watch. We had people of all ages coming up.....lines were long.
