Pleading for advice/help
Hello. Hopefully you read this through before you dismiss me. I have been struggling with stomach issues since October. Had a barrium swallow in October Endoscope in November and just had a Colonoscopy. The only finding was tiny hiatal hernia and some acid reflux. The last part of my esaphagus was pretty beat up though? They said it was very inflammed. I took prilosec twice a day but I keep getting worse. I get VERY sharp pains under my left rib. Its like little shocks of pain. Drinking water is a bad experience. I feel it always hit my stomach. Food is actually not as bad but I have started to feel sick after I eat. Sharp pains have moved into my mid back almost like a tearing pain. Now I am getting the pain in my front me neck. I have been extremely worried they missed stomach cancer on Endoscope. I know you guys have a lot to deal with but I would appreciate somebodies opinion the doctors are not helping. Also, I have started to lose weight but not drastic. Thanks.

Hello AGreek.
Hello AGreek. Before my mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer her doctors told her everything else was to blame for her stomach and back pain. It wasn't until her CT scan that they found the tumors and mets to the liver. My advice is to go back to the doctor, or even maybe get a referral for a specialist and ensure that it isn't something more serious. The one thing I have learned in taking care of my mother is that if something doesnt feel right inside- GET IT CHECKED OUT UNTIL YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE.
