It spread to my liver 3bigman4christ said:surgery question?
I am glad that you are NED for some time now janderson1964 that makes me hopeful for the future. I am currious tho i keep reading about people having surgeries and that seems to help why havent the Dr. wanted to do surgery on me yet? does that mean that i dont have as advanced stage 4 as you guys or does it mean that it is just in to hard of a spot to get to, or do they not want to do it because it is not worth it? I know that i have several large masses on my liver that are growing instead of shrinking and they are concerned about that. do you think that could be the reason why?
It spread to my liver 3 times. Each time being a single tumor. Usually they dont operate if there are multile leasions or in a dangerous location such as attached to a vien or artery. Ask your doc why they arent operating. Dont be intimidated by him. Remember he works for you. It doesnt hurt to get a second opinion either.0 -

You are one step (year) ahead of me so you are an inspiration not to mention that are very caring and sincere in your post. Yes it is hard. I have to stay away from here a week before each scan since that bad news gives me even more scanxiety.0 -
