Off to my in-laws' cabin in the mountains...
beautiful lake, tons of snow...no heat except a fire, only one room no matter how many "snorers" may be coming, trek into the cabin basically requires snowshoes...am taking my pain pills and hoping for the best! Hugs to all~Ann Alexandria

google Frankincense its gold for colorectalsHelen321 said:Feast of the Three Kings!
Feast of the Three Kings! Nice! I hope they bring more than gold, Frankincense and myrhh although you can do a lot with gold these days. I'm debating taking down my tree this weekend. I am suddenly enjoying it very much. Somehow Christmas just flew by. So plans would be, taking down my tree, working on baskets for the Ronald McDonald House for donation and babysitting my grandbaby on Sunday with a visit from one of my best friends who will be bringing her donations to the RMH baskets. We're doing practical baskets, soap, shampoo, dish liquid, detergent for the family but we're throwing in fleece blankets, slippers, some fun items like batman washcloths and towels, bubbles, manicure kits for the kiddies. It was an idea of one of the moms who I met at Sloan who had a kid staying there. My boss was EXTREMELY generous and donated 18 pairs of slippers as well as 12 large fleece blankets. She rocks. A few friends and I are filling in all the smaller items. Someone even donated $100 in pharmacy gift cards.
im serious, some good quality supplements under the tree and a miracle.
now some 2000 year old ancient christian medicine combined with 4000 year old chinese herbs and the latest german antibodies and vit c is going to work for me i pray.
hugs,
pete

We always keep our Christmas tree up until Epiphany, Pepe, so we're still fully decorated at our house! *smiles*
Tomorrow will hopefully be a fairly quiet day. Sunday will be church and then a pizza party with the youth Sunday night.
*hugs*

WOW Ron! That's hot!ron50 said:We are
In the middle of an Australia wide heat wave with large area of the country having above 40c temps yesterday. It is cooler today but it will get much worse next week. Hobart ,the capital of Tasmania our southern state had its highest temp since recordings started yesterday around 41. something celcius. Unfortunately Tassie caught fire yesterday ,one town Denalley appears to have been wiped out with estimates of from 60-85 buildings damaged or destroyed. Fortunately most areas were evacuated though a lot of people spent some anxious times on beaches to escape the fires. Every state in Australia is listed as critical bushfire danger. If nothing else since previous tradgedies we have become better prepared but it does not help when you return to find your home gone.....Ron.
What hell happens in Australia lately? Lots of meteorological disasters both in summer and winter! Hope you can go to the beach is the ocean near from you ? Or it's hundreds of miles away? You never know in your mega country!.
Take care of you Ron wish you a calm and fresh weekend!0 -

Take care of you Ron wish you a calm and fresh weekend! It's gone crazy mate. Tasmania is our southern state,it is washed by the antartic ocean. It is crazy for that far south. They finnished up losing a hundred homes but it is not over this week it is getting hotter. We are on the coast and even here we are expecting 37c on wed. My wifes sister lives in western queensland. With the aircon on max low she could only get the inside temp down to 32c last week, out side it was 47c. They said that our introduction to climate change would be record temps and wild storms...Ron.
