CA 125 Question
Hi ladies
Tomorrow after work I go for a ca125 test for my 3 month ck up on Friday. This is the first time I have been sick before a test. I have a slight head cold but I also have had some sort of stomach bug the past couple days. No big surprise since I work in a high school health office and both of these were going around prior to the break.
What I am wondering is - can either of these raise my CA level? I was just wondering so if in fact they call me thursday and say it is up I don't flip out and assume it is the cancer.
Until my cold and and tummy bug I have felt great. A little tired from all the last minute holiday preprun around but over that now.
Any advice would be appreciated.

ANYTHING can make that ca125
ANYTHING can make that ca125 go up(or down). If its a few points,no biggie, if it doubles.....maybe a problem. Your nerves and anxiety can make it go haywire. Try to relax and don't get all bent out of shape if it is up. Best, Debrajo

Thanks Debra Jo. This is my first real follow up. My first check was combined with surgery follow up after having my I P port removed.
