Big day a week from tomorrow (Jan 7th)

I'll be getting my second set of CT scans post treatment (total of 12 TX with 5FU and Oxy + 10 TX of Avastin). My first results (after 5 TX with 5FU AND OXY + 3 TX with Avastin) were good with no growth in any tumors and 40+% reduction in a couple of tumors. I have been feeling VERY good since the last CT scans, and have actually gained back about 20 of the 45lbs I initially lost after surgery and initial chemo treatments. Hoping for good news on the 8th, when I meet with my onc to discuss the CT results.

Hi Tedd,

Hi Tedd,
It's great that you're feeling so good while on chemo. My husband is on Folfiri with Avastin and feels great. He has an up-coming scan, as well. His first since re-starting Folfiri in Sept. We're hoping that it will work as well as it did last time. It's a very anxious time for us as I'm sure you and everyone else can understand. Hope you get great results.

Wishing you great results, too.
Glad you gained weight, too. Nutrition is so important alongside any treatments, yet chemo can certainly diminish appetite, etc.
Keep us posted.
I face stitches out and strt radiology treatment of area for brain tumor removal and possible liver treatment with radiation soon.
Just a little anxious with new plans.
Good to hear positive news!
