Other options for HCC

in Liver Cancer #1

My mother has been dx with primary HCC, no other liver problems, wth mets to her back.  Currently she receiving radiation for her back ad Zometa infusion. she will start Nexavar after radiation.  ive seen others on here talking about other options.  I would like to know a little bit about them, if ayone could please share their experience. hope t have enough info to ask our docTor at next appt.  thank you so much

    treatment options

    Husband had 4 chemo embolization tmts of adriamycin which resulted in 25% shrinkage. He takes Nexavar twice daily which he will remain on as long as the tumors are not growing. He seems to be doing well, doesnt feel the greatest tho. Not much energy and no appetite. Hope this helps and certainly wish you well. God bless you.

    Thank you so much for telling me about this.  Has your husband had any side effects from the Nexavar? My mom starts on it this tues. Thank you for your reply and God Bless you ad your family.
