Please reply me about nexavar,my wife has started nexavar 2 days ago.I am very much concious about results.TACE done on 11th dec 2012.She was looking healthy & fit before TACE.Now on bed feeling tired & fatigued.Although nexavar started,but i am afraid.Tumour size in liver 10x13.2x12 cm detected on 29th november 2012.I want to medicate her on natural things,juices,anyother thing which is not damaging her body.please guide and consult if some one has info or experience.I am worried.

my mom was dx in Nov.  She has HCC with mets to bone.  she will start Nexavar in a few weeks. doing radiation at tis time. Her doctor has her on flex seed oil and milk thistle.  said he had a 92 year old pt back in 1993 take this only.  he lived several years .  Mom has not had resent labs but will post when she does.  Look into the Budwig diet also.  hope this helps you.  keep your faith, it will get hard but keep your faith.

My mother stared with nexavar on September 2012, and at the beginning was too strong for her, with several side effects.  She has liver cancer- final stage.  At the moment she is in a Hospice and all medication was suspended as they believed it was descompensating her kidney functioning.  My only recommendation is to seek for alternative natural methods.  In our case the doctor told me that the medication will "buy her a couple of months" Couple of months that have deteriored her health.  I send you all my regards, it is a very difficult situation where love and caring is the best remedy.

after TACE & NAXAVAR...side effects

after 37 days of use of naxavar & 49 days after TACE,size of tumor increeased on one side.although tumor is going towards necrosis.size is bigger.belly is becoming like a baloon.day by day very weak.hardly my wife can walk to bathroom.Doctor is saying again CT after 15 days to see results.continue naxavar.

i have heard about vitamin K,if anybody have info about it,please reply to improve the health & resistance of my wife.any other option to make her healthy.she is also very much dipressed.

I have also heard about vit k, my mom has an appt this thur and i will be discussing this with him at that appt.  When I find out anything i will post.

husband age 58 diagnosed stage IV w mets in lymph nodes and started on nexavar June 2012. CT 30 days later showed tumors unchanged(not getting larger). TACE w adriamycin was given x 4 doses and nexavar was continued. tumors showed 25% smaller after 2 treatments.his last treatment was Nov and he continues nexavar.  will have a CT next week because liver function decreasing and alpha feta protein going up. i hope this helps. nana j

anyone experience....tumor size increased after naxavar

please share if anyone knows....after use of naxavar size of tumor increased,Afp was 12900 before, now after use of naxavar 40 days.....AFP is raised 13400.

Naxavar results

tonight another result of AFP received after 51 days of nexavar tablets,this was full of hopes,it is now 8500,decreased 5000 as compared to last tests,i think this is good sign,if anyone knows,please share

We are confusing, too.

Actually, before Nexavar, our AFP has been incresing 10 times for a month. (AFP 400->4000)

So, I cannot conclude tumor size increased after nexavar.

 

Our AFP continuously increaseing again 10 times for three weeks even after Nexavar. (4000-->30,000)

However, it gradually increases with decreasing rate for last three weeks. (30,000->32,000)

It is confusing. 

 

It is really effective? Or only side effect?

my wife died after a battle

my wife died after a battle of 3 months,i advise to all please dont use nexavar,please go to natural methods.Nexavae is a weapon of drug mafia,all posting about possitive news of nexavar are fake.please for God sake dont use naxavar.
